Spruce Mountain Adult Education makes a huge impact on the lives of those in the tri-town area. We are grateful for the fine training that SMAE gives daily. I have watched a graduate of adult education pursue his dreams and we can’t say enough good about what is happening in the classroom there. These hard-working people give hope and a brilliant future to students both old and young! Thank you Spruce Mountain Adult Education for being a contributing factor to the success of so many people. You are helping the success of the tri-town area! All the best to you!

Rapid Response Representative
The Maine Department of Labor’s Rapid Response team is committed to providing resources to all job seekers, and collaborative working relationships play a major role. One of our many valued partners is RSU73 Spruce Mountain Adult Education (SMAE). It was a pleasure to work with SMAE Director Robyn Raymond and her office staff Courtney Michaud to plan, coordinate, and organize events such as a resource fair, a job fair, and workshops. Together we connected with resource providers and employers, scheduled participants as allowed by capacity, and promoted events with fliers designed by the collaborative team. All this was aimed at helping not only a targeted group of dislocated manufacturing workers, but the general public as well. Robyn’s team was very responsive in offering local, timely, and effective services in response to the mill shut down. Nothing better than working together!

It is not only about growing the opportunities for our employees but also for our community members.
